Karra Yerta Wines  Karra Yerta Wines
http://www.karrayertawines.com.au/

Karra Yerta Wines is a family owned boutique winery situated high in the beautiful Flaxmans Valley, Barossa Hills area of the Mt Lofty Ranges, South Australia. The Barossa Hills region, also known as the Barossa Ranges, including Keyneton, Eden Valley, Flaxmans Valley and Springton - is generally classed as land from above 300m to 600m sea level, and is noticeably cooler than the Barossa Valley “floor”, so the grapes take longer to mature here. Therefore, vintage is about a month later than on the valley floor and due to this, some believe that the hills grapes have more body and flavour than grapes harvested from the lower grounds.

Within this pristine environment, the vines that produce the Eden Valley Shiraz and Eden Valley Riesling are dry-grown and hand-picked. Our total production is quite small in quantity by today's standards and at this stage is restricted primarily to the produce of a small vineyard in the Barossa Hills, of old, low-yielding Riesling and Shiraz. We also make a small quantity of Barossa Shiraz sourced from the world renowned Kalimna/Moppa Road area, which is amongst vineyards that supply grapes for one of Australia's most famous wines.

Mintaro Wines  Mintaro Wines
http://www.mintarowines.com.au/

Mintaro Wines is a small boutique winery with an average production of between four and five thousand dozen bottles per year. We produce a range of premium red and white table wines, which are bottled and distributed under two labels – Mintaro and Monarch of Mintaro. There are different wines bottled under each label and both labels are sold domestically and wines with either label can be exported.

We also have two reserve labels, which we call series one and series two. Each series contains six bottles of magnificent red wine and the labels feature stunning works of art. We present each series in a specially marked wooden case. Series one (2005 Reserve Shiraz) is called “Belles Femmes” and features six grand 19th century paintings of beautiful women. Series two (2002 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon) is called the “Leckie Window” and features six stunning Greek Mythological stained glass and leadlight images from a window designed and created by a prominent Australian artist in 1935.

Coriole Vineyards
http://coriole.com/

Coriole Vineyards was established by the Lloyd Family in 1967. The earliest vineyards date from 1919, in the "Seaview" sub-region of the McLaren Vale Wine Region in South Australia. The main variety is Shiraz, followed by Sangiovese and Chenin Blanc. Wines are estate produced and sold in many countries around the world.

Winemaking at Coriole is a very traditional process. Red wines are mainly open fermented in stainless steel or old wax lined concrete tanks. Ferments are hand plunged. New oak is used but many wines such as Sangiovese and Redstone Shiraz are specifically matured in older oak to gain maturity but with minimum contribution of oak flavour and extract in the wine.

Bremerton Wines
http://www.bremerton.com.au/

Premium wines require premium grapes. Bremerton Wines has planted 110 acres at Langhorne Creek and is joint owner and manager of another 180 acres from which we select our best fruit each year with the balance being sold to other wineries. Best quality practices ensure best quality grapes. The predominant varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot, with small plantings of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
The winemaking team headed by family winemaker Rebecca Willson has taken the quality of our wines to new standards. Rebecca seeks the best possible fruit from our own and other specialised Langhorne Creek vineyards to craft traditional, full bodied, full flavoured, mouth filling Langhorne Creek wines that show a consistency of style whilst encouraging the true varietal grape characteristics to be expressed.

Coonawarra is a small wine wine region in South Australia, famous mostly for it's Cabernet Sauvignon and it's cool-climate spicy Shiraz. With very similar temperatures as Bordeaux in France, Coonawarra receives less rainfall, but with a supply of high quality underground water, grape growers have an even greater control over the flavours and intensity of the grapes used in their wine.

Majella Wines: Coonawarra, South Australia
http://www.majellawines.com.au/

We'd always made a bit of wine up from our own grapes, and knew that the quality was very good. After prompting from many of our peers we finally bit the bullet and in 1991 made up 600 cases or so of Shiraz. The wine was vintaged at Brand's "Laira" winery (the link with Brand's won't go away) under the ever watchful eye of their winemaker, Bruce Gregory. This hit the market in 1993 and was received exceptionally well. The wine was good, the packaging looked good and we sold out in no time. (The packaging was designed by Barbara Harkness Design of Adelaide.)
We continued with the Shiraz in 1992 and 1993 and then in 1994 we released our first Cabernet as well. Tony always wanted Sparkling Red so the now famous Majella Sparkling Shiraz was born. We only make this in small quantities so it sells out very quickly. If you ever want some, it's generally released in November, so keep your eye on the news page and get in quick!
